Bảo hiểm xã hội tự nguyện là một trong những chính sách an sinh xã hội có ý nghĩa sâu sắc, giúp đảm bảo cuộc sống ổn định khi về già cho người lao động. Bài viết phân tích, đánh giá các quy định pháp luật về thực trạng tham gia bảo hiểm xã hội tự nguyện tại Việt Nam hiện nay, sự cần thiết của việc bổ sung các chế độ ngắn hạn vào loại hình bảo hiểm này và đưa ra một số đề xuất hoàn thiện cho Dự thảo Luật Bảo hiểm xã hội (sửa đổi).
