Trong bối cảnh Việt Nam thúc đẩy chương trình chuyển đổi số quốc gia, việc tham khảo kinh nghiệm triển khai của Tòa án Anh và xứ Wales trong việc ứng dụng công nghệ thông tin, số hóa dữ liệu khi thực hiện các thủ tục tố tụng trực tuyến; đồng thời ứng dụng máy học/trí tuệ nhân tạo trong quá trình phân loại, sắp xếp hồ sơ, phân tích nội dung bản án nhằm nâng cao khả năng dự báo khi cơ quan xét xử xử lý vụ án là rất hữu ích. Bài viết này đưa ra hai nhóm khuyến nghị: (i) đổi mới, hoàn thiện cơ chế, chính sách và quy định pháp luật về ứng dụng công nghệ thông tin trong hoạt động tố tụng dân sự; (ii) xây dựng cơ sở hạ tầng, năng lực của hệ thống, nhân sự chuyển đổi số của Tòa án.
