Trừ điểm giấy phép lái xe là một biện pháp quản lý nhà nước, lần đầu tiên được ghi nhận trong Luật Trật tự, an toàn giao thông đường bộ năm 2024. Mỗi lần bị trừ điểm, người vi phạm sẽ phải cẩn trọng, không bất chấp để vi phạm vì điểm bị mất đi thì không thể phục hồi một cách dễ dàng. Bài viết phân tích các quy định pháp luật về biện pháp trừ điểm giấy phép lái xe, nêu lên những điểm hạn chế, bất cập, đồng thời đề xuất hướng hoàn thiện.
